About The Lorry
The Mercedes Arocs chip lorry provides an efficient, all-in-one solution for moving and handling woodchip and arisings on site. Its high-capacity body enables bulk transport of chip and brash, reducing the number of vehicle movements needed during clearance works.
The lorry is fitted with an integrated Fassi crane (10 m reach), allowing timber and brash to be self-loaded without relying on additional loading plant. This cuts down on double handling, improves site flow, and helps keep working areas clear and organised.
Using a vehicle-mounted crane also supports safer loading and lifting practices and aligns with FISA guidance for lifting operations, while ensuring arisings are removed promptly and efficiently.
